How long does a detail take?
All of the details offered here take at least one hour, some lasting 8+ hours , depending on the package. Our basic inside and out detail, the level one, takes 1.5 to 3 hours for a new customer.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and cards, please note there is a 3.5% fee for using a card. You can also use apps such as Cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
Do you have your own water and electricity?
Yes, we show up with everything needed to complete the task at hand. Equipped with a 100 gallon water tank and a generator we have everything necessary to detail your vehicle. We use only filtered water to ensure no water spots are left behind.
Will wax remove scratches?
Applying a wax will hide the micro-light swirls and scratches in your paint. They’re essentially “filled in” with the wax which creates more shine. So technically it does hide the very light scratches, but it does not actually remove any of them!
Nonetheless, your paint will look much glossier because the wax creates a more “flat” surfaces
How long does wax last?
It’s all depends how you store your car. If it’s garaged at work and at home 80% of the time, then it can last between four to six months. If you have your car sitting out in the sun, cold, and rain 100% of the time, then maybe you can get three months out of it.
Also, if you wash your car with dish soap, then you’ll start stripping the protective layer of wax off your paint.
What is a clay bar?
A clay bar is a piece of detailing clay that is rubbed along the paint to remove all contaminants. Your vehicle will be perfectly smooth and cleaned; a very important step for applying waxes, sealants, or ceramic coatings. Below you will find a picture demonstrating how a clay bar removes contaminants naked to the eye. This process is recommended for all first time clients to start a service regimen for the vehicle to keep the paint protected.
Difference between wax and sealant?
Waxes are naturally made from the carnauba plant. Waxes provide a warm deep finish to your paint, wax in this climate will last you a maximum of two months, even less if you live closer to the ocean. A sealant is a man made paste that protects your paint like a wax but lasts twice as long. Sealants are recommended over a wax because the protection qualities are far superior than carnauba wax plus lasts twice as long.
Do you charge extra for dog hair removal?
Yes!! While we are animal lovers, dog hair can be stubborn to remove and takes more time. The cost will be determined on a case by case basis, and you will be notified before the detail begins.
